After a 30+ year career working in Corporate America, Michelle decided to use her Human Resources skills to provide consulting services to companies and non-profit organizations. She recognized that leaders need to concentrate on growing their businesses, and don't have the time to learn the complex local, state, and federal employment requirements or to manage day-to-day employees' needs. Even at more established companies, a single Human Resources Professional or HR team can benefit from additional support or specialized training from time-to-time. With this in mind, she founded Desiderata HR Consulting.  

 

Michelle is a self-motivated entrepreneur who is known for both her positive, can-do attitude, and her technical expertise.  She listens to the needs of her clients and provides creative solutions to their problems.  She is someone who can quickly earn trust and respect from all levels of an organization. Prior to starting Desiderata HR Consulting, Michelle held Human Resources leadership positions at Qualcomm, XO Communications, and Frazee Industries and has managed all HR functional areas. She also speaks at local and national conferences sharing Human Resources best practices.
